We offer preschool for children aged 3 years thru 6 years.  We have a small classroom of only ten students per day with two teachers, so we are able to truly understand and meet the unique needs of the children and families we serve.  Our multi-age classroom also allows us a special opportunity to learn and grow with our students over a sustained period and lends well to the best possible outcomes.

Our preschool starts at 8:30 am and ends at 2:30 pm.

Our programs allow for families to have the care they need.  We do offer multi-child discounts.  If you have special needs requiring accommodation, please contact us!

Our days are semi-structured to allow for special activities and further exploration into the children's interests.  We do allow for extended creative, free play both indoors and out as well as small group and individual lessons focused on literacy, numeracy, practical life, etc.  

 

Our typical schedule is as follows:

Morning meet up circle (good morning, calendar, seasonal songs and verses, & rhythm games.)

Creative, free play indoors. Small group and individual lessons (literacy, numeracy, art, baking, science, etc.)

Healthy snack is served.

Clean up.

Free, outdoor play and structured outdoor play; wash up.

Storytelling, puppetry, literacy work.

Lunch.

Wash-up; make beds, story time, rest time.  Rest time over as children wake up. 

Special activity of day: yoga, music, art, cooking/baking, caring for our classroom.

Afternoon circle (thankful thoughts); good byes.

 

 

Our daily, weekly, and monthly rhythms help the children to feel comfortable and know what to expect.
